Thennat Novo Malbec

Malbec is the Argentine emblematic red grape. It introduced in this country by Miguel Aime Pouget during the XIX century. First cuttings came from Bordeaux, France.

Cultivation zone: Zona Alta, Mendoza River, Mendoza, Argentina.

Vineyard training: Low trellis system.

Pruning system: Classical Guyot.

Distance between plants: 2m between each row and 1.2m between plants.

Yield: 12,000 kgs per hectare.

Age of vineyard: 40 years.

Harvest: Hand-picked in baskets of 16 kgs each.

Tasting notes: Purplish red colour typical of this grape variety. Intense aromas of prunes and delicate red fruits.  Smooth, medium bodied with a very pleasant finish.

Serving: This wine is an ideal partner for red meat, lightly spicy dishes and soft cheeses. Recommended serving temperature: 16°C to 18°C. Corks
